The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is arguably one of Guy's most recognised feature scores. His music received a BAFTA nomination and still generates much fan and professional interest. A low budget film and music production, the score was primarily performed by Guy using synthesisers and exotic wind and percussion instruments.

 

This clip is from the films high point and features the vocals of Robyn Dunn. Although symphonic is sound, it was produced with cutting edge (for the day) synthesisers and samplers and just a small string session. Guy leaned heavily on his classical training for this particular cue, while much of the rest of his score was more esoteric.
